I tried that initially, but it didn't help. Since I first posted about it, it seems to have cleared up on its own though.

I'm not Staff, but... Post DH References is a read-only archive of old threads.

You're welcome. And that brings up another question for Staff...

If a topic comes up in the Post-DH archives that a member would like to discuss, are there ways to discuss it in active threads? Or is the topic considered "dead"?

For example, can a member create a new thread on the same topic if it's not a Staff-created thread (as the Legilimency Studies threads are)? Or (if the thread IS in Legilimency Studies), can a member quote/link from the archived LS thread into the new LS thread to continue the discussion? And finally, if the answer to the above questions is "yes," are there additional/special rules for Snape threads?

Topics in the archives aren't forbidden, we just move threads there if they had long since no action. If a thread topic was as troublesome that we decided to take a stop on it for a while, the thread usually is closed, but not moved to the archives since it will be reopened later on.

So if you feel you want to discuss a topic again, be welcome to start a new thread. If you like what you read in the archives and the thread there isn't yet too long, you can also ask a member of staff to move it back to the main areas. [NB! Please don't ask me, if you want that to be done fast. I'm on vacation until the mid of August].

For Legilimency studies indeed the rule applies that only staff can start those threads (but takes suggestions). For Snape threads still the good ol' three threads only rule applies, but we might revisited that at one point.

OK, it's so long since I checked a social group which I began ages ago, I have completely forgotten how to go about inviting new members. The group is 'invite only'. I'm just not seeing WHERE the instructions are.

It should be down the bottom of the main page of the group. Pending and Invited members. If you use DH UK as skin you need to highlight the bar. Then you can just enter the name of the person you want to invite.

It was the skin. Couldn't see the bar! I changed the forum skin to Ravenclaw, and lo and behold there was the bar. All sorted.

Hello lovely people! Firstly, you're all fantastic for maintaining (and maintaining order XD) on this site!
Secondly (and forgive me if this is a ridiculously obvious question!), is there a single place in which you can view all of your past posts? I fear I am at risk of repeating myself, and wish to have a means to check without hunting through old threads
