No matter what I do, it ain't giving me the new version of the Halloween skin.

Guess I will simply start using the Christmas skin already.

Aye, unfortunately now that I've located what the problem actually is, I can't fix it, because I'd probably mess up all codes if I tried to fix the glitch. I'll try to catch a techie, but they have been so busy with other works lately, that this might need some time. Sorry!

Alas I've no clue why the old skin shows for some of you. Maybe we didn't feed the gremlins recently - or too often?

I only get the old skin as well. I think it may have to do with not being able to install it over the drop-down menu?

Yep, most likely. We by now found out that two Halloween layouts also exist in the according menu of our forum's software. We try to fix that asap, so that everyone only get's the *new* style.

And hey... it took us only four years to realize that some of you still only see the old layout!

I only see the old Halloween skin, too. The old skin is up before I even log in, which is odd.

ETA: If the old skin is the one that is visible to guests and those who haven't logged in yet, then I would suspect that the new skin is not active to anyone except maybe admins.

Can anyone else see the new Halloween skin?

We're already working on the issue. Should be fixed soonish.

I've removed the old layout as an option for users. I've tested the new layout on a default user account and it's a bit glitchy, but it should eventually show up the new skin. It may require deleting cache again.

eta:

The old skin is still cached where you go to a new part of the website that you haven't been to before. Hitting F5 or clicking refresh on the browser is removing it for me on my test account. I'm using Firefox, but other browsers should be as responsive.

Good, there's still flaws with the new skin, which isn't all that new if I'm honest. But I'm glad you've got it. Anyone else having problems?

Christmas style should be set up as default style now for people browsing & logging in to site. If it's not to your taste you can go to your Edit Options page, scroll to the bottom & change the style there.

Wow. I just saw the new Christmas skin, and it's definitely different. It kind of threw me for a loop because I've been used to the darker tone of the site before I log in. It's awesome though. I like it.

I've liked that we've had access to the Christmas skin this whole year. It's one of my favorites. I had only changed it for Halloween.

But it's a really cool skin :>
I don't know if I won't change it, though; I'm not a very big Christmas fan.
