When you get it, you can explain it to me, because that went waaaaaay over my head when I read Morgoth's explanation. I'm still trying to get the groups and friends figured out. Is there a benefit to having friends besides not looking like a total friendless freak who lives in someone's basement?

Ok Tags:

As I understand it, a tag allows us to mark entries with a certain key word. Then this becomes a link which will enable us to click and pull all related entries. So say we create a Snape tag and use this whenever Snape is discussed. Well you could go and click on the Snape tag in Tags and pull up all the posts related

As far as friends go, if you friend someone, you allow them to see certain things on your profile like a photo album you have marked "private"

In addition to what Tonks said, if you're a creepy stalker who enjoys looking at people's profiles, it's easier to find them on your friends list than to look for a post by them.

I'm using stylemarillion now. I see the darker background image, and its not that good. You can get rid of the dark image now if you want. Its was great the way it was before. There is your excuse. And thanks for putting it back.

In IE, go to the Tools menu and then to Internet Options. You will find an option to clear cookies and files under the General tab.

In FF, go to Tools menu and then to Options. You will find an option to clear the cookies under the Privacy tab.

I don't know what IE and FF stand for.

Oh, goodness -- the COOLEST, best upgrade: there is a "reply to" option when you get owls, so you don't have to build a whole new one. Sweet!!

You could always go for the 'creepy freak' or 'friendless stalker' option.

I was wondering whether there was a more direct link to the social groups area on the main page? Like under a sub-forum or something? Only I find that it takes a bit of time to click on Magical Me and then look for the option on the left. I know, I know, I'm lazy.

SevPrince, IE stands for Internet Explorer and FF stands for Mozilla Firefox. Both of them are web browsers. If you've got Windows, you should have Internet Explorer as your default browser, so you should follow the instructions Tonks gave for IE.

I don't see anything different in that. There was always the Quote button that allowed you to reply with quote. Or am I missing something?

YAY. That was much faster than I expected. I miss some of the themes though. I'll use CoS Lite for now.
