I was aware that it was a joke, but I don't know... I guess mistake by definition means it was unintentional, but I'll always consider it an error. It's not a huge aspect of the plot, but I think the integrity of the story is more important than an inside joke. (I'm probably just exceptionally picky though XD)

Just watched OOTP at the theatre - so much more fun at a real theatre. I noticed that when all of the DA is being forced to use Umbridge's 'torture quills' George or Fred dips his quill into an inkwell before writing. He was clearly not just shaking off a drip. But Umbridge had made a point with Harry of saying that her special quills did not need ink (since they wrote with the user's own blood)

Caught anoth in the HBP viewing. Harry arranges to meet the waitress in the subway cafe at her 11 p.m. closing. We see her looking around for him as the shop is being closed but he is with Dumbledore. He goes to Budleigh-Babington and meets Slughorn, and after the house is put right, the grandfather clock says 10:35. You could say that Dumbledore overlooked that, or that he did not make the clocks reset to the right time, but his spell was supposed to put everything like Slughorn had never faked an abdubtion.

Nice catch. I never liked that whole waitress scene anyway, nor Dumbledore's lame "you need a shave, my friend" remark.
