I visit CoS Forums everday and barely go to MuggleNet . I would love visit Mugglenet everyday, but I feel very unconfortable with the dark background. I mean, my eyes do. I sent a couple of messages to the admins, asking if they'd do something about it, provide a light background as an option , but I didn't get any answer. Am I the only one to complaint about the dark backgroud?

I am with you. I too find the Dark Background a bit irritating and painful to my precious eyes therefore I don't bother to visit the site every day. I just pop into it once a week to check any new news out there. The background is why I use "Cos lite" which is faster and more brighter. Any one else who uses it?

i go to mugglenet about once a week or sometimes more, but right now i cant get to it. whenever i attempt to go to it i get the server down page.

I visit both sites almost daily, but I definitely visit mugglenet more regularly. I discovered the cos forums through the editorial discussions.
I love Mugglenet, and I actually really like the black background

I haven't visited MuggleNet since I registered at CoS.

I found MuggleNet first, mind you, and checked in as a guest a couple of times a week for several months before I discovered to link to CoS. After another couple of months surfing CoS as a guest, I registered here and promptly forgot about MuggleNet.

To be honest, I didn't like the tone of the place.

I found CoS via the Mugglenet Forums link. I have Mugglenet as my home page and like being able to read any HP news from the previous 24 hours before coming here.

I also came to CoS via the Mugglenet link. But I never visited Mugglenet again for months. Now since a few weeks I go there ones a week to look for news and other stuff.

I used to always go to mugglenet every time I went online, and I would spend most of my time there. But that was before the new comment system. There was less security, and you could talk to people there. But then, I decided to go here, because it was the only option I and a bunch of other people could think of to communicate with each other.
So, I usually go to mugglenet first to read the hp news, then I go here for the rest of the time.

It isn't on the side bar under "Discussions" for you? (They moved it from the top to the side, but there is still a link when I visit there. )

I don't visit mugglenet that often anymore, probably just like a few times a month. I usually just go to COS.

The link is still there. When they re-did the graphics I looked for it for a long time because I wanted to know where it was. Mainly that's because Mugglenet is my homepage so I always am ther first.

Mugglenet is my homepage because it makes it easier to get all the lastest hp information. I used to be a regular here but after the big influx of newbies flooding the forums after the release of hbp I felt lost in the crowd and lost interest. I'm on holiday so I came back to see what was going on and, if my 2 jobs and hectic social life allows, may stick around for a while.

I said I used MuggleNet more often than the forums, but it really depends. I chack the MuggleNet main page for news updates about every 10 minutes, but sometimes I don't do anything but check the main page. And I don't usually use the forums obsessively until about 8 or 9 P.M. until 2 A.M. because that's when I'm able to focus and think my best. So... I guess it evens out.

I found the link to COS through mugglenet but now I only rarely visit Mugglenet to check news. Aside from the news there isn't many things to do

as book 7 and movie 5 are readying to come out, I am visiting Mugglenet more often to see updates and such. I am much more likely to come here to CoS and post in a thread or go to the arcade. It also makes a difference that my work schedule is so different than when I first found this site.

I usually check Mugglenet at some point each day (often first, but not always) just to check for news, then go to CoS (and spend a lot more time here!).

I would have picked multiple answers, but I voted before realizing that I could do that!

I usually check mugglenet out once a day for news. Though mugglenet seems to have gone off the boil lately. Cos is in my usual suspects bookmark folder (which i open when firefox starts). I've not really been posting that much lately, i prefer reading theories these days.

I used to visit Mugglenet several times a day.
Then it slowed down its page-loading tremendously, and so I switched to the text-only version of TLC (it was much much faster)
Now I still visit Mugglenet several times a week, but I get my daily news from TLC.

I registered in CoS Forums a long time ago (see my Joined).
I used to come on here several times a day too, and it was my must-visit forum other than a Tom Felton forum.
Then I became addicted to a chinese-language forum and abandoned all the other forums I was in, including this one.
I only came on occasionally, when it was mentioned in Mugglenet or when I suddenly thought of it.
Now that DH is approaching, I figured it'll be the last time to read about theories and speculations on CoS Forums (like I used to love reading previously), so I'm back on here.
I hope to post more frequently! I've got almost 6000 posts on the other forum I was addicted to, but here I've only got 100+ posts!
That's a rather pathetic post count compared to the 6000 I've achieved.
