No, I think you misunderstand me. I meant the gear, for the YAHOO! avatar to set them up to LOOK like HP characters. personally i know I'll never qualify because I am not here to jump through hoops to get a silly avatar. I am here to discuss HP and RP in Hogwarts. thats it, thats all.

PhoenixKnight, if you don't get an answer in this thread, you might just go ahead and ask someone who you see with the kind of picture you're talking about in their sig how they did it. Most people around here are pretty friendly, and I'm sure they won't mind helping you out.

EDIT 2: Question...why, when you preview your sig, does it take some or your space away? I mean, I worked pretty hard on getting seven complete lines only to get six complete and one that isn't even half a line. It's kinda off... *Goes back in to add more*

if you like a picture, on the signature editing thing there is an add a picture thing...first click that... then right click on the picture... when a list of options pops up go to properties. there should be an html somewhere on the properties...then just copy it

I recently saw someone with a signature that had the expand tag around it so I wondered since the point of that is mainly to help people with dial up connections if more than 7 lines of text or a picture larger than 300x300 would be allowed under a signature completely under the expand tag?

The expand tag doesn't help with dial-up, it just changes the visibility of a referenced DIV element (the contents are still downloaded), so no...

Is it supposed to be a dove? The attachment (?) you seem to be using doesn't exist...

If you're using the WYSIWYG editor that's due to an essential clean up of empty nodes.

Which ones are on the final two lines? I'm confused because, one, I see the image I have in and, two, I'm only seeing seven...actually, when I was working on it, I went back in to add more because I hadn't filled all my lines. What should I do? I don't want to delete my favorite lines but I don't know which ones are hanging off...
